Solitary confinement despite overturned conviction
Albert Woodfox's conviction was overturned more than a year ago but the Louisiana authorities have kept him in solitary confinement in a cell the size of a parking space. This is where he has been for the last 4 decades.

No jail time for admitted sexual predator
Robert Richards IV admitted to, and was convicted of, raping his 3-year-old daughter and sexually abusing his 19-month-old son. Richards is an heir to the DuPont fortune and because of his affluence his judge decided that he "wouldn't fare well" in prison, so this violent man was sentenced only to probation.
